One of LiveTV’s favorite events of the year is our annual Halloween Ghost Story Open Mic Bonfire event. An outdoor, adult, Halloween themed evening playdate with activities, games, snacks, and ghost stories told near a roaring bonfire. Come sit by a cozy fire in the yard of The Dream Shop where we’ll celebrate the season in the most chill way: roasting marshmallows for s’mores, sipping beers and spiked ciders while watching and sharing ghost stories and spooky performances. While this event isn’t for kids, it is designed for the kid in all of us. Play games and activities to win all kinds of adult prizes from gift cards from popular stores to gas cards. Feel free to come casually costumed with blankets or chairs to cuddle up with or warm up inside while playing a few games from The Dream Shop’s collection of board and cards games.

Experienced storytellers from the American School of Storytelling and the Black Storytellers Alliance have been invited to share spooky performances mixed in with stories told by guests, so come ready to jump on the mic with your own ghost story or performance. OR read aloud from a book of short stories, jokes and poems provided. Share all kinds of simple spooky performances anywhere from scary stories, poetry and spoken word to song, dance, rap, or even a monologue.
