DESCRIPTION:We are adding a “Witness Open Mic” on the first Monday of the month\, to offer our neighbors and fellow citizens a forum to share their stories.  \nWhat has happened? What have you seen or done as a witness\, observer\, or volunteer? How are you living with your fear\, anger\, anxiety? What can we learn from listening to each other? \nStories\, poems\, songs… all forms are welcome. Sign-up will be first come\, first serve. DESCRIPTION:This interactive storytelling event is an ‘unfolding’ during which Ruby mixes millennia old stories and her own storytelling to take audiences on a visceral adventure highlighting 1 of the 5 senses. \n \nArtist Bio: Growing up trilingually in a multi-ethnic blue collar immigrant neighborhood\, Ruby learned early to navigate between differing narratives on the nature of life/“reality.” Her storytelling blends decades of travel\, teaching and performing across U.S. & abroad with tools\, techniques\, ancient texts and lots! of dancing en route. \n\n“There are those moments in theater when a clown is born. This was one of them. “\n“It was clear the Feminine Divine was shining through.”\n“We laughed so hard\, we started to choke!”\n“You were spellbinding!”
