Diane Jarvi- Singer/Songwriter Music Series

Diane Jarvi presents the second of our Singer/Songwriter Music series with an evening of “musical stories, chants, charms, complaints, hungers and luck.”
A singer, songwriter, guitarist and poet, Diane Jarvi deep dives her ethnic roots, explores Americana styles and embraces world music. Her several recordings and books share her love of poetry and songwriting. She has been the recipient of a McKnight MacPhail performing fellowship as well as of a Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage grant. She is a teaching artist with the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project MN and St Paul’s East Side Arts Council.
“Diane Jarvi does wonderful deeply visionary and poetic songs often from a women’s perspective.”-James Leary, author of Folk Songs From Another America.
