Poetry Reading- James Lenfestey

If you missed the SRO launch of James Lenfestey’s 8th full length poetry collection, TIME REMAINING, at Plymouth Congregational Church in November, here is your chance to catch him in a local intimate setting designed for poetry, storytelling and humor, and Lenfestey’s poems contain all three. Known for his spirited presentations, Lenfestey’s 8th full-length collection, subtitled “Body Odes, Praise Songs, Oddities, Amazements” explore the body and the body of language and life in ways never heard before, filled with linguistic delight.
$10 suggested donation for this event.

For 30 years Lenfestey was the delightful Urban Coyote columnist for the Hill and Lake Press, then served a decade on the editorial board of the Star Tribune, where he won Several Page One awards for excellence.. He has taught and practiced poetry in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Mackinac island, Michigan. In 2020 he received the Kay Sexton Award for significant contributions and leadership in the Minnesota Literary Community. His website is www.coyotepoet.com
