July 1, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm CDT
Still Standing by River Maria Urke

Please join us for River Maria Urke reading from her new book, “Still Standing: Snapshots of an MS Warrior”

Still Standing: Snapshots of an MS Warrior is a memoir of resilience spanning twenty-five years on a rollercoaster of motion. A compelling story of multiple sclerosis told through snapshots comprised of essays and poetry. They are River’s everyday moments and pondered experiences related to her daily battle with multiple sclerosis. Each essay is a window into an experience covering a subject relatable to someone with MS and informative for those that want to learn. One or more poems follow each essay, often with a gift of humor at the end. A book to educate and inspire the warrior in all of us.
