Beginning Storytelling
April 28 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm CDT
$80.00

Have you wanted to tell stories? Or better stories? No experience? Some? Heard a Moth program and thought, you could or should try that? This four session hands-on class will give you the basic tools to identify, craft and confidently tell a traditional or personal story. It explores how to identify story seeds from your own lived experience, useful plot forms that structure narratives and can transform how you write or tell stories and critical choices of point of view – First person, Second, and Third Person – in Past or Present tense that frame who is telling the tale and the fundamentals of saying it out loud.
In-person, 4 sessions, 7:00-9:00 pm
Tuesdays, April 28, May 5, May 12, May 26
Taught by Loren Niemi
