Ruby Rain “In the Palm of Her Hand”
The Nose Knows! A night of weird and wonderful stories you don’t just hear, you experience. In this hilarious and immersive performance, Ruby Rain blends ancient myths with her own magical adventures. Each show explores one of the five senses. The April 13 journey is devoted to scent. Fragrant flowers. The smell of fear. Body odor. Smoke in the bathroom. No two shows are ever the same.
Artist Bio: An excommunicated rabbi outlawed in six states and several foreign cities. Ruby has studied with Indigenous shamans from Spain, Mexico, West Africa, Australia, and North America, as well as several non-Indigenous shamans from Massachusetts to California. She pioneered the use of marijuana in the Passover seder. And once got into a bar fight in Buffalo.
